Katherine Givens is an Author, Advocate, Public Speaker, and absolute warrior against Human Traffikking. Kathy is a Survivor herself, and tells her story with an amazing elegance and aptitude that will ease the tension of the subject and allow a better learning and understanding.
Kathy has been featured in PEOPLE Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Voyage Houston, Civic Research Institute, and others. She Co-founded Twelve-11 Partners, an organization committed to supporting survivors on their journey to thriving, and Program Manager at Rising Worldwide, a nonprofit combatting trafficking globally. Kathy is also a Consultant at Shobana Powell Consulting and A21. As a leader in the field, Kathy continues to provide training and consulting to various groups committed to the fight against human trafficking, focusing on underserved communities and people of color.
